Evan Lorenzen is a multidisciplinary artist who grew up around Denver, Colorado. He spends most of his time drawing, painting, woodworking, sculpting, bookbinding, and creating miniature illustrations. Evan earned his BFA from Marlboro College in Vermont, where he focused on 2D animation and painting.

When it comes to ceramics, Evan tends to specialize in wheel-thrown vessels with illustrative and hand-built decorative elements. He enjoys that the medium of ceramics allows for creating artistic pieces that still retain a level of day-to-day functionality, thus creating objects that are not only beautiful but also useful.

Additionally, Evan considers it cumbersome and maladroit to write biographies in the third person as he found out in the construction of his traditionally-styled artist’s bio.
